Configure a train currently scheduled for a station as a template for the station - the mod's special train construction station will automatically build (or destroy) copies of the template train on demand, or in response to circuit conditions.

Have you given any thought to using "Train Scaling" to upgrade train configurations ?

EG upgrade locomotive to bob-locomotive-2

Maybe by deconstruction then re-creation using next Tier of loco / wagon.

That'd be really cool :) It'd be tricky to take settings from an already-destroyed train with the way it works now -- maybe a way this could be implemented would be to set a template in 'upgrade mode' where copies of the train that it builds would have a mapping of old to new wagon types (then you could swap the template to an upgraded one and scale down the old trains). I'll have to fiddle with it :)
