Just a detail but the diesel locomotive model used has a coal storage in the back.
The factorio old locomotive model looks closer to a diesel (as well as the current one). So maybe a setting to swap models between the tiers would be nice. Otherwise pretty nice integration, always nice to have a more bespoke centralized mod instead of juggling different versions.
