Thanks for pointing that out!
It seems Nullius's method was to entirely remove the autoplace rather than my general assumption of mods disabling it.
I have published a fix that adds fake recipes to the calculation so it considers the asteroid mining a valid method of obtaining ore. Typing this I realize that it does not take into account that uranium requires a fluid, but I'd be shocked if that actually affects the tier.
