It is a scenario library, mainly for multiplayer, but also for singleplayer. There is one scenario called "Desert Oasis". Most of he map is unusable in this scenario and on top of that deadly. It is the desert. The heat and dryness hurts and kills you, if you walk in it longer than a minute. But there are oasis' too. There you can build your bases and mine resources. To get from one oasis to another you need to use vehicles or trains. Or the desert will kill you. The only things you can build in the desert are railroad tracks. It is pretty well done and I have long wished for something like that and finally found it. If you are longing for a similar experience, just check it out.
