Tesseract Logistics 1.3.5
added - copy paste from blueprints keeps channel ids
fixed so you need to start tesseract (prevents channel 0 constantly being filled!)
Teleport items across your factory using Tesseract Senders and Tesseract Receivers -- compact 1x1 machines that pair together over a shared channel and move items instantly, no matter the distance.
Getting Started
- Research Tesseract Theory in the technology tree
- Craft a Tesseract Sender and a Tesseract Receiver
- Place them anywhere in your factory
- Open either machine and set the same channel number (0-9999) on both
- Items in the Sender buffer are teleported to the Receiver automatically
You can connect belts directly to either side, or use inserters -- both work with no extra setup.
The Link Tool
The Tesseract Link Tool lets you pair machines without typing channel numbers:
- Left-click a Sender or Receiver to select it (a yellow label appears)
- Left-click the partner machine to link them on a new channel instantly
- Clicking the same type again swaps which machine is pending
- Right-click anywhere to cancel
Connection Lines
Open any machine and toggle Show Line in the UI to draw a colored line between all paired machines on that channel. You can pick from 8 colors to color-code your different item networks. The lines show on the map view so you can trace your logistics at a glance.
Research Tree
Tesseract Theory (Electronics)
Unlocks the Sender and Receiver. Range up to 500 tiles.
Tesseract Expansion: Medium Range (Tesseract Theory)
Extends range to 2,000 tiles.
Tesseract Expansion: Unlimited Range (Medium Range + Rocket Silo)
No distance limit across the entire map.
Tesseract Overdrive (Unlimited Range)
Doubles throughput to two full yellow belts per machine.
Tesseract Filtering (Medium Range)
Lock a Sender to one item type per channel.
Power Scaling
The further apart the machines, the more power the Sender draws. The Receiver always draws a flat 50 kW. If a Sender loses power, items stay safely in the buffer -- nothing is ever lost.
- 0 to 500 tiles -- 100 kW
- 500 to 2,000 tiles -- 500 kW
- 2,000+ tiles -- 2 MW
- Cross-surface -- 10 MW
