Adds technology related to the Subspace Trading Network, where even survivors stranded on strange alien worlds can participate in interdimensional commerce.
Subspace Network Terminals allow materials to be bought and sold for Subspace Credits. Credits are not normal in-game items, but are instead a form of global currency. The ability to sell items for credits in one location and buy items for credits in a different location can significantly change the logistics requirements of your factory. However, it introduces new challenges such as balancing your credit economy.
The mod also adds the Subspace Recycling Chest, which can be used to get rid of unwanted items in exchange for a small amount of credits, and the Subspace Accumulator, which provides power at the cost of credits.
At the base level, only raw materials may be bought and sold. Additional technologies allow for the purchase of refined metals and electronic components, and can reduce the cost of buying items.
Compatible with existing saves.
Not currently compatible with multiplayer games.
