Squishy HD Decorative

Squishy HD Decorative gives Factorio’s natural decorative objects a cleaner HD visual pass while keeping the original vanilla style.

This mod replaces many of the small world-detail sprites such as grass, bushes, decals, rocks, dry plants, and other decorative terrain details with 2× HD versions. The goal is to make the world look sharper and cleaner without changing the feel of Factorio.

This is a graphics-only replacement mod. It does not change gameplay, recipes, balance, collisions, pollution, autoplace behaviour, or entity stats.

Compatibility

Squishy HD Decorative only patches existing vanilla decorative graphics, so it should work with most mods that do not completely replace the same decorative prototypes.

System Requirements

Because this mod uses 2× HD PNG textures, it may use more VRAM and RAM than the vanilla decorative graphics.

Notes

On lower-end systems, loading time and VRAM usage may increase slightly because of the larger HD textures. If you notice stuttering or texture issues, lower Factorio’s graphics settings or sprite resolution.
