Forked to modify the balance selection from individual pack cost to collective cost (a pure red tech with 100 packs is now ranked the same as a red, green, blue with 100 packs each)
Seemed abandoned for quite some time now, fixed the issues + re-published.
Some work is still needed, as the icon sizes need to get smaller/the frame bigger. The functionality seems to work fine and will be good enough for my/our lan game. :)
About
Auto Research automates research in Factorio. No more "Press t to start a new research", and the mod even lets you queue and blacklist research.
Usage
The GUI can be shown by clicking Shift+T (this keybinding is customizable in options->controls->mods).
You'll also want to prevent Factorio from popping up the research screen when a research is completed. You do this by unchecking: Main menu -> Options -> Other -> Technology window opens when research is completed
Multiplayer
Auto Research should work in multiplayer games, even in games with multiple forces, although the latter is not tested.
Compatibility issues with other mods
Auto Trash also use Shift+T as a keybinding. This may cause issues for both mods. A simple
work around is to change the keybinding for either mod.
Improved Research Queue, Extended Research Queue and all the forks around that: they do some weird shit and break infinite research queueing in this mod. (It doesnt make really sense to use multiple mods that do basically the same)
