which steps did you take?

Well I got to another planet, opened navigation menu to look at navius and crashed.

Probably it tried to get coremining from orbit?

I have no idea how I did it atm. All I know is that I was moving from one system to another, while landing in a rocket I opened gui and crashed. Tried pretty much spamming these buttons and stuff and couldnt reproduce it.

Add a check if its null there just incase?

as a last resort yes, but ideally a crash would be reproducible

Im not sure how does it works the whole rocket player movement, maybe at some point player stops existing and if you have any script based on player data and its null it just fails due to this?

Player riding in rocket, while it was launching I opened the Universe Explorer, clicked on the Nauvis line and crash. You need nil checks.

Welp I was anchoring to the naqium asteroid field and was generating terrain and randomly crashed. From nav view.

Okey when trying to anchor a ship and open planet view (list of planets) I crash.

Fixed in 1.0.12
