Various weapon structure transports.
To transport items this method you need a transport turret and a compatible transport target. Once both are place you can specify item locations via signal.
Gun = Projectile Target
Laser = Energy Target.
Artillery = Impact Target
Rocket = Force Target
Each method has various perks and downsides.
Gun = Short range, low item count, but high speed, no energy consumption
Laser = Long range, low item count, and high speed but consumes large amounts of power
Artillery = Extreme Range, High Item Count, low speed
Rocket = Long range, high item count, adjustable speed with higher speeds leading to possible loss of items.
Turret could also be toggled to target enemies in a emergency, but will cause a mess, loss of items, and do less to virtually no damage.
Vents
These would functions similar to pipes, but underground(invisible unless toggled) with input and output connectors(above ground), they could transport items at high speed to filtered outputs. However the network need both power(scaled to the amount of items going through the vents and vent network size) and steam(scaled based on the speed you want and total size of the vent network). Vents can't input directly into machines but cant chests. These would be ideal for more complex recipes where belt weaving is a pain, or long range transportation where trains are not ideal.
