i was on the verge of making an anti-asteroid mod for space exploration since setting up meteor defences can be tedious to repeat, but sinced damaged rocks was my main annoyance i decided to give this mod a revival first, buildings and repair packs aren't really a concern for me, merely losing high tier modules.

when you add the mod it'll search all surfaces for damaged rocks once, which might take up to a second, after that all already damaged rocks just receive 1 health every 10 seconds, but once only a few rocks are damaged at any time the performance impact this mod has on the cpu/tps is pretty much unnoticable and of no concern
