I can easily pick up, place on map, and anything, the quality stays the same.

If, however, i use the assembling machine, even if i select quality, even if the crafting result in a quality, the one that is automatically placed on the map (by the assembler) will NOT have any quality

This mod was made way before "Quality" was a game concept, and I have no idea how it works, as I basically stopped playing the game since before v2 even came out. The robots do not follow/use quality in any meaningful way. Maybe that could be changed, but I don't intend to to that any time soon.
