My Version of the Mod i am noticing that the Robot Army will not attack worms and the worms will destroy all bots within their fairly large range, Once all Hives have been destroyed if there are any worms left, the worms will take out the remaining of the squad. Is this by design to only locate and hunt the Hives and not the worms?

no, that doesn't seem right. I wonder if that's a change in the base game biter AI logic? The droids should attack the worms too - especially if they are attacked by them they should react to it.
