If possible could you allow the setings for construction and supply zone to be a double. This way if the supply zone is set to 8.5 then the power cables can still connect, but a logistics barrier can be created.

Just to confirm I understand: your second post is saying that 8.5 is a bad idea, but a double setting would still be preferable in general?
The whole idea probably doesnt work
After I field tested it with 8.5 I found making a border between two towers wasnt friendly to my OCD nature :)
