Resources Anywhere + Factorio Plus

An extended version of the original "Resources Anywhere" mod by Xovon, adding full compatibility with Factorio Plus resources and miners.

What does this mod do?

This mod changes all miners and pumps to be able to be placed anywhere and collect any resource they are filtered to without the need for resource tiles underneath them.

Core Functionality

• Place miners and pumps anywhere on any surface
• No need for resource patches underneath
• Select recipes to determine what resource to mine
• Full surface detection for planet-specific resources
• All resources affected by Mining Productivity research

Factorio Plus Support

This version adds support for all mineable resources from the Factorio Plus mod, including:

Solid Resources (for Electric/Big Miners)

• Bauxite Ore (requires sulfuric acid)
• Sand Ore
• Iron Ore Pure
• Goblin Ore (yields mixed stone, iron, copper, and coal)
• Wood from Forest resources

Factorio Plus Miners

• Large Burner Mining Drill Anywhere - 3x3 burner-powered miner with wet mining support
• Electric Grinder Anywhere - 5x5 high-productivity electric miner with module slots
• Steam Turbine Miner Anywhere - 4x5 steam-powered high-speed miner

Note: Factorio Plus "anywhere" miners now require the base "anywhere" miners to craft (e.g., Electric Grinder Anywhere requires Electric Miner Anywhere instead of the vanilla Electric Mining Drill).

Fluid Resources (for Offshore Pumps)

• Aquifer (water source)
• Geothermal Vent (steam source at 250°C)

Compatibility

• ✅ Works with or without Factorio Plus installed
• ✅ Fully compatible with Space Age
• ✅ If Factorio Plus is not installed, the mod functions exactly like the original

How to Use

1. Research the appropriate mining technology
2. Place a miner anywhere on the map
3. Click on the miner to open its interface
4. Select the recipe for the resource you want
5. The miner will produce that resource automatically
