Currently, the Promethium science pack is set as a prerequisite, which makes the control tower available too late in the game.
In my case, I’m using a mod that adds extra planets, so it takes even longer to reach Promethium science. However, there are many infinite research options available before that point, and I’d like to start using the control tower earlier.

It would be great if there were a mod option to unlock the research control tower at the same time as space science becomes available.

Hi, just wanted to say I would also much enjoy an earlier, configurable access path for the reasons above. There are some planet mods that I consider more midgame than endgame, but their research blocks prometheum for (what is for me) months of game time, and not being able to automate those mod researches means I don't enjoy them as much. I'd love to be able to unlock the tower after for example Corrundum, or Aquilo.
