It would be nice to have RS controlled via the circuit network. This would allow Smart™ Self-Expanding Factories® which expand only in the specific direction towards the resource field.

In the menu of the resource scanner, where you choose the offset and area it scans, you can replace the numbers with signals which then use the number of that signal in the circuit network as the number it would normally use. (Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm kind of bad at English)
