I use recursive blueprints to rebuild barrier defences when they are breeched so I am using over 650 of the blueprint deployers with more being added as I expand my base.
99.9% of the time they just sit idle waiting for that section of the barrier needing rebuilding. What I noticed is that even though there is no signal going into the blueprint deployer, it is still using quite a bit of processing power.
Just the fact that the deployer is wired up (red or green circuit wire) causes it to eat up quite a bit of UPS.
Can you pls check the code and maybe put the deployer to sleep if inactive ... or add an option to limit how often it is checking for input changes.
