  • A New Surface is not a terrible idea to go to. I guess mostly for the fact that nauvis is part of the SE List so anyone can fly and visit it later on could be annoying. But having a brand new Surface preventing the players visiting it via space and only teleportation like on first Join is a great idea.
  • I like the idea to declare or be friends, etc options. That being said I rather see an admin override / options vs player choices as well. For example on my current server I have it as no friendly fire, allied / friends server. So I would not want the players themselves to be able to change these choices even if they mutually wanted to go to War (based on settings I set as an admin).

I'm not sure if this is beyond the scope of this mod, but that information mode SE uses / made. Be fun to have stats and info added as a page there with maybe current evo and other stats that are possible get from players to sort of keep an idea how people are doing.

I'd have to look into how to get a surface like that to work.

For the ally/war system, I'm planning on having it as configurable as possible, but it'll take a while to decide on the details and how to implement it.

I am also thinking of making a better player list/stats ui for the ally/war system. Are there any particular stats you have in mind?

Changed his to their for the next version, but it'll take some time for me to figure out why evolution isn't freezing correctly (and is getting so ridiculously high)

I think because of SE being Installed I think things like Cargo / Sat Launches would be a good stats to grab. I'm not sure if there is other simple none taxing stats to tap in with some basic totals of something. Like Research Done, Biters Killed, Etc. That being said you don't want it too bloated and you don't want to tap into stuff that causes a lot of calculations either. The total Cargo / Sats are built into the Info interface already per player so those should have code samples there.

The New Surface is not really a big deal anyways. It's just more if you create a Vanilla surface outside of SE method as far as I know it's not a place a player can visit from the space charts.

I like the idea of the list / status UI especially if it's using something more of the new interface. The old style that people use to do is too ugly now haha.

Hope you figure out the Evo issues. I know that is the big goal of the mod itself. I will prob look into running it later on with K2 + SE.
