These beacons are designed to encourage more build variety!

Look at the machine speed bonuses in the next video:

There's a menu inside each rainbow beacon which lets you choose a transmission color. All colors deliver the effect of one module.

Warmer color beacons transmit over small areas, but use less modules and less electricity.
Colder color beacons can transmit over a wide area (up to 131x131), but they require more modules and more electricity to work.

The coldest beacon is purple and the warmest is red.

Machines can only have one beacon of each color affecting them. When they are affected by 2 beacons of the same color, the effects of said color are cancelled!

Despite the giant areas, these beacons should be fairly balanced, as they are fairly big and don't provide that much of a boost (only equivalent to 2 vanilla beacons). I wanted to make their placement a bit puzzly and to encourage building variety :P

This mod is a fork of nattanang which forked Kane.Nexus with sprinkles of pY inspiration.
