wondering the same thing myself, this mod was saving my poorly designed rail network.

Kovarex "fixed" the "bug" that made this mod possible. And it does not look like we will get any replacement for it.

So don't expect reliable low-UPS-impact rail bridges coming back to Factorio.

New to acronyms; what's UPS?

New to acronyms; what's UPS?

Updates per second. The amount of full world updates performed in a second. If this is less than 60, the game world runs slower than normal.
Not to be confused with FPS (frames per second) wich is the amount of screen redraws per second. If this gets too low, movement looks choppy (although everything above 30 shouldn't be too bad).
UPS depend on the speed of CPU and RAM, while FPS depends mostly on the GPU but is never higher than UPS in Factorio (because you can't draw what hasn't been calculated yet).
