i want to thank you very much for the outstanding work you did on this mod.
Space Age was an incredible addition to the game, which brought so much to the game and expanded in many new directions. But one design decision baffled me to no end, why on earth wube implemented it in this way: Quality. Or to be more precise, the way to aquire quality entities.
Players who have known Factorio for a long time and play(ed) with mods, are accustomed to the concecept of a Tier/Mark (1,2,3,ect) system to get better machines of the same type, that require certain prerequisites.
For the life of me, i could not figure out, why Wube went with an rng element, that never had a part in the core gameplay. Okay, world generation and uranium processing has a rng element to it, granted.
I wouldn't go so far and say this ruined the game for me, but it really dampend the enjoyment. And while lategame possibilietes existed to farm legendary raw materials, kudos to "AVADII Strategy", it was very, very, very late into the game.
Anyway, i wanted to step back into the game and was looking if after quite some time, maybe somebody with the capabilities and dislike to the vanilla quality management managed to engineer something.
And here we are. :)
Thank you very much for all your dedicated work. It is a wonderful integration to the game, even adjustable to each one's liking.
I do hope more people get to know this mod and appreciate it and your work.
