The calibrator is not working. The output is items of ordinary quality.

I assume with "ordinary" you mean standard (normal) quality. Did you input standard (normal) quality items into the calibrator?

The calibrator is designed to upgrade only post processed (uncommon) quality to calibrated (rare), so you have to set the recipe quality to post processed (uncommon). If you put in standard (normal) quality items, you will not get an upgraded result.

If you want to directly upgrade from standard (normal) quality to calibrated (rare), you have to enable "allow multi-step upgrades" in the mod settings.
