pY Cranes


This pY Cranes inserter mod is aimed at both saving UPS and providing 100% faithful to pyanodons overhaul balancing experience. Cranes' hand size, power draw, speed, recipes, unlock time, etc, are all set to be as if you were using 3 or 6 normal inserters in their place, offering absolutely no cheaty gameplay advantages.

Won't be fixed due to base game limitations and how the mod needs to be coded to properly work. Same bug applies to upgrade planners and some other UIs, there will be lists of these.

This happens because cranes can't be properly buffed by the base game's Inserter Capacity Bonus technology (which can only add a +X to inserters of two hardcoded types while cranes would need to receive +3/+6 at the same time as everything else gets +1) and so to compensate for that each variation of a crane at any given time of progression needs to exist as a separate entity.

You can see the same workaround-method used in pY beacons that have 25 different beacon entities (for each beacon) that pop up in game's UIs from time to time.
