g allow preserving on all planets

Please allow preserving on all planets. Especially with alternative start mods, this mod can cause major logistic problems as it requires going to nauvis. Also why can't we preserve in space? EG vacuum freeze it.

I'm not entirely clear on what you mean since there are already settings to disable the restriction or change it to space. Do you mean adding more specific options to restrict it only to vulcanus, fulgora etc. like it currently does for nauvis?

I can probably add it for each of the core space age planets if that's what you mean, but I don't really want to do it for modded planets since it's a messy manual process that would have to be done individually for each planet.

Preserving the packs in space is there as an option but it really kind of defeats the point of having spoilable science packs at all, since you don't even have to deal with the transport time between planets.

Oh, sorry I was using a search for the mod startup settings and it was only showing the hours for configuration.

Yes, it would be good to have the option of Vulcanus or Fulgora. Would there be a way to add it to a modded planet via a string check of the planet name or is that still too messy?

I'll have to take some time to think about it. Even supporting things like vulcanus and fulgora will require changing how this mod works internally. I know how to do it from another one of my mods, but I want to be careful to not potentially break existing save files if I rework the system.

Assuming I rework the system, modded planets are certainly possible and not particularly difficult to do, it's just tedious since every planet needs an optional mod dependency, a separate toggle setting and a localisation string for that setting. Plus of course I have to look through the specific mods source code to find the internal names for things. I will have to be careful since the 2.0/1.2 split is also going to make things more complicated.

No urgency. I'd rather you focus on 2.1 support. Having to update soon. Was seeing some problems with this mod by force updating it. I'll make another thread for it.
