Just for clarification, Pelagos Autobarreling only added autobarreling support for Talandar's Barreling Machines mod, which was previously integrated into Pelagos itself.
Normally, you have to manually select recipes for the barreling machines before they can be used (like an assembling machine); the only change my mod made, was to make them work automatically, based on the input fluid (like a furnace or recycler).
This was to improve my experience, since it seems pointless to have to manually select a recipe with a machine that only has one recipe for each fluid, and another one for the barreled form.
According to Talandar himself, this was the only reason he added the incompatibility:
I actually had someone tell me the machines felt useless, and it turned out they were playing a modpack where this mod was included by default
So it makes sense if you want to remove autobarreling mods entirely from this mod.
The new alternative, FCT's Barreling Machine for Pelagos, basically accomplishes the same goal, by enabling compatibility between FCT's Barreling Machine and Pelagos, and adding autobarreling functionality to the FCT variant. Just to provide you with additional context; thanks!
