Make Angel's smelting recipes the best way by disabling direct ore smelting in furnaces. It forces you to go in the advanced metallurgy path. Need angel's smelting.

That is the only reason I wait until I have the ore processor.
what do you mean by more "productive"? when you hit smelting 2 the recipes grant more yield of plates per ore than vanilla. level 1 is the same as vanilla
Yes but smelting 1 is basically useless because those yield the exact same as just using a furnace. This means there is never a need to use the mk. 1 metallurgy machines.
