Only legendary
Only Legendary extends the burner phase and removes all quality tiers except Legendary. It adds new burner machinery and reworks early-game progression to support the extended burner phase.
A science cost multiplier of 100x or higher is highly recommended.

Other research changes
- Circuit network can be researched using only automation science.
- New Burner automation technology that unlocks the burner assembling machine and comes before automation.
- Basic inserters unlock with automation technology.
- Long-handed inserters are moved to a separate technology, which the fast inserter now requires.
Balance Changes
- Assembling machine 1 gains a module slot.
- Burner and steel furnaces gain a module slot.
- Mining drills gain a module slot.
- Mining drills gain a wider mining radius at legendary quality.
- Burner inserters can fuel themselves directly from buildings.

Progression
The goal is to make the burner stage a meaningful part of the early game rather than a short transition before electricity and more advanced automation.
Legendary remains the only quality tier, allowing quality mechanics to exist without introducing the full set of intermediate qualities.
