I did some testing in the editor and it looks like they are not affected by weapons research... this makes these turrets simply worse than any of the default ones you get in the game. It would be appreciated if you were able to insert them into the research in a non-blocking way. (So it can be compatible with other mods which also insert their weapons into the damage research)
