g Can no longer use multiplayer-ui 0.23 with stable 2.0.77

a month ago

Hi,

I just updated from 2.0.55 to 2.0.77, current stable, and I am not able to start my headless server because it is expecting "stdlib" instead of "kry_stdlib"

Is there any fix for this other than to update to experimental 2.1?

Here's the error I get in my logs:

1.178 Error ServerMultiplayerManager.cpp:84: MultiplayerManager failed: "multiplayer-ui/control.lua:3: Path stdlib/stdlib/area/position.lua does not match any enabled mod.

Update: It looks like if I open the .zip file of the mod and change line 3 of control.lua from this:

Position = require 'stdlib/stdlib/area/position'

to this:

Position = require 'kry_stdlib/stdlib/area/position'

(and then remove the redundant copy of the 0.2.2 .zip file from the 0.2.3 folder)

and recompress it, it seems to let me start the server after, however I cannot connect to my game because I think the game client downloads the mod from here when I try to sync mods and join, and I guess the one from here still has the wrong value.

I target 2.1.x because that's what I play. And the version of the mod under 0.3 are unstable and unusable. Sorry

If you REALLY want it for 2.0, I could push 0.3.6 for 2.0 and then 0.3.7 for 2.1.... but I'm not gonna maintain both eternally, meaning you wont get whatever new features comes with 0.3.8.

Would that suits you ?
