All good. I haven't used any of the mods you mention so not sure but doesn't sound unreasonable, I am mid way though something else however I will see what I can do.
I intended on doing some compatibility testing next so will include this in it. Wont be immediate but not do long.

the ore may be trickier as it's based on the original alien loot and artifacts found in the old factorio data and other splinters use that color theme. ooze etc. I will look still but may just be slight tweak not a different color. all mine are textures it looks as if the science ores are just tinted ores

Did you update? Im sure i out the fix in for you in latest update. You need to chanege the setting to experomental as i didn't enable by default
