Like, I don't know if this is to fix beacons being normally unbalanced, if this mod makes stuff better or how, like, I don't know normally I don't even use beacons for anything besides the rocket.
It's intended for use with the overhaul mod pack Sea Block (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/SeaBlockMetaPack). That mod makes beacons very powerful but requires you to cover your entire factory with them to use that power. This mod adds a new kind that achieves the same power without needing to cover your entire factory in rows of beacons.
