miniMAXIme: Character scaler and selector

by Pi-C

The player stands like a giant near the vehicles. Now you can adjust the size of your character -- and you can change your appearance at any time if you've other mods that provide extra characters!

b [Fixed] Wrong argument! nil is not a valid surface name or surface!

I am trying to get my old save going again. Obviously, many of my old mods broke making the jump from 1.1.87-0 to any of the post-DLC updates. (I do not have the DLC purchased or installed.) I replaced old/broken mods with new equivalents and try to load up my map... and I get a crash. I have gotten it down to only one mod causing me not to be able to load my save, and it's miniMAXIme. (I was using [temporary update] More accurate player size compared to vehicles by gungorenu; claims to be a forked development of your mod.) The error I get is:

The mod miniMAXIme: Character scaler and selector (2.0.7) caused a non-recoverable error.
Please report this error to the mod author.

Error while running event minime::on_surface_deleted (ID 65)

minime/scripts/surfaces.lua:345: in function 'event_handler'
minime/scripts/events.lua:298: in function <minime/scripts/events.lua:295>

This happens if I have all mods enabled, or in fact, only miniMAXIme. If I run all mods except it, I load in no problems. If I start a brand new map, I have no errors running all mods including it. I have tried with versions 2.0.7-0, 2.0.14-2, and 2.0.21-5, with the same error on each.

Any ideas how to fix? Or do I just need to play this save without?

Thanks for the report!

Yes, I was rather late updating the mod for Factorio 1.1, so gungorenu released a fork in the meantime and deprecated it when i updated my version.

OK, I'll have a look at it tomorrow …

Unfortunately, it seems I must be logged in to access the file – but I don't have a dropbox account …

Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, you should be able to hit the download button, and then at the bottom below the sign-in window it will say "Or continue with download only." If that isn't the case, what other ways could I share it you think?

I succeeded in downloading the save file! Version 2.0.8 should fix your crash.
