Unlocked Avatar Crafting!

In the Avatars mod, when using an Avatar, by default you don't have access to default Space Age crafting groups, or many other groups added by mods. (Currently, the only planet from All Planets that gets properly copied into Avatars is Maraxsis. The rest require this mod.)

What is it?

Category Discrepancy Examples

This mod is just a slightly more advanced version of my old Castra/Nuclear Crafting Fix, that's focused on Avatars instead of !skins. The old mods hardcoded support for specific mods to !skins, but this version adds full compatibility for any additional mods to Avatars.

This mod was made by request, and if either of the associated mods fix this on their own I will deprecate this mod, but for now, it works.

If this description seems short, most of the information can be found in the Category Discrepancy Examples imgur post.

Warning!

Do to the nature of how this fix works, I feel like I must say that there is potentially unintended side effects. I highly doubt there is any scenarios where someone would run into this, as I can't even think of a mod that does it, but for example if you were using a mod that purposely didn't want certain categories to be available to their mod, but still available to the engineer, this would break that because it simply just takes every category given to the engineer and gives them to all additional characters. That seems obvious because of what the fix is, but if there was some Scenario where say, you start off as one engineer, make progress on one base, and later transfer to some secondary island where you were supposed to start off fresh and unlock unique researches that give the new character the old intended recipes, adding this mod into the mix would break that Scenario. But seeing as I couldn't even think of an existing one and had to make up an edge case for this, I highly doubt that anyone would run into it, but I still feel like I should put this warning here as this doesn't only focus on Avatars, and I realized it could have unwanted side effects.

It's probably possible to make a version that takes all detected categories, and adds them only to the avatar, but due to my own experiences with modding I feel like this solution of just duplicating them covers 99% of use cases. I haven't actually ran into a mod that purposely doesn't want you to have a certain category, but I can't say nobody will ever make one.
