Longhaul Trains

Adds slower accelerating and breaking Trains that in return are able to hit higher top-speeds. This is very useful for trains travelling vast distances.

I like the train's model 👍, but it feels a little too narrow, would it still look good if its width and height were increased a little, but kept the same length (and hitbox)?

Also, may I suggest double stacking the wagons? So the texture of the cargo/fluid wagons is extra tall by having another one pasted on top, like double-stacked well cars. Here's an example I quickly put together using the all-mighty MS Paint

I get what you're getting at, and yes, doubling up the wagons could be a really cool idea. But imma honest.
The current train model is entirely cursed and a buggy mess. The way Factorio sprites are rendered out is completely over my head and vehicles especially have the most complex sprites of all. When I implemented that model I had no idea what I was doing and I still don't. Last time I tried, nobody on the modding discord could help me either. I may try again at some point, but it's really hard if just don't know how things work and there's no proper documentation.

If anyone who knows how to do sprites wants to A, do it, lovely be my guest, or B teach me how to, hell yeah. But it'll probably die in my folder of never finished projects, sorry mate..

I see, so even just adding double-stacked wagons without acting buggy would be really tough. I hope you do well in your modding adventures

I may look into it tomorrow, doing the stacking might be easy-ish... But getting locomotive model to work is honestly out of my reach
