I is quite good because each combinator has an internal chest which contains the items received / sent on the lane. So the computation is done only one per second for each node to compute routings, receive items and feed internals chest, then the internal loaders send/receive items on lane without additional computation. For example, the average time for the logistic network in the image platform is about 10micro-s (i have a good PC).
