So, is the AAI Industries now compatible with this, or you still locked at the start without a way to progress?

If I can suggest, you could check if AAI Industries is installed, if it is, when the game is loaded, you unlock the recipe for the Radar, as it is the only thing that you can't do at the start

I removed the dependency of AAI Industries because of the radar issue. At some point I might make a patch/alternate version of the mod that is AAI compatible but I imagine I'd need to completely change the recipes for most things in the mod.
