A single solar panel is a more reasonable "salvage" from your escape pod, and would still get the asm3 up and running enough to have it craft steam power for you!

Maybe you could add a setting for which type of power to start with?

No timetable, this is literally the first Factorio mod I've ever even looked at and I essentially copied someone else's work. So I'll have to find another someone else to copy settings options from. But I'll look into it for sure!

I got a setting screen with this and a few other things all coded and tested, and now the mod portal is down. When it's back up, I'll upload version 0.2
