I'm sorry for implying that you were being an unhelpful user, but (this is more directed towards the other post), it's not entirely helpful to simply state that something doesn't work, without providing any details or any other information.
Even if the issue were an easily reproducible one (which it wasn't, in that case), providing the error message at the bare minimum gives me an idea about what to look for while trying to fix the issue, but without it, I'm just going in blind.
And as for this specific report, I've received numerous reports about potential incompatibilities with the planets contained in the pack, but as a third-party modpack, I have no responsibility to address those issues; I can't fix them and marking them as incompatible would merely obfuscate the issue. This is not the first time I've had to direct people to report these issues to the mod authors in question (and it's unlikely to be the last either)
As for the external reports, I don't use github, so I wouldn't have known to check there for any other bug reports. I only noticed the lack of reports on the mod portal, and seeing the report you did leave on Omni's discussion threads gave me even less reason to check external sources.
I did report both on their respective githubs
I also do wonder why you mention "both", when there are four mods involved? Pelagos, Maraxsis, Barreling Group, and Water Refining itself should all be looked at, with Water Refining getting the most scrutiny of them all, as it appears to be the common denominator for the issue, is the most recently released, and the most likely to be in need of a fix, rather than the planet mods or the relatively simple Barreling Group mod.
