Krastorio 2: Spaced Out with AAI Industry. Removes AAI's forced building upgrades (higher-tier buildings no longer require the lower-tier one), unlocks coke crafting in space, switches advanced asteroid processing to a metallurgic tech card, and removes AAI's duplicate wooden circuit recipe and the burner lab's dead tech-card slot.
Small changes concerning balance, gameplay, or graphics.
Version: 0.1.0
Date: 2026-07-20
Features:
- Undo AAI Industry's forced building upgrades -- recipes where a higher-tier building consumes the lower-tier one it replaces (electric mining drill from burner mining drill, steel furnace from stone furnace, ...) -- restoring each to its Krastorio 2 Spaced Out value. AAI's added content, tech gating and plain ingredient substitutions are kept. Toggle: "Remove AAI forced building upgrades".
- Restore values are generated from a diff of an AAI-on vs AAI-off data dump of the actual mod set (tools/generate-restore.sh), not hand-written, so they track K2SO and the tweak mods exactly.
- Coke from carbon (kr-coke-calcite): removed the Vulcanus-only pressure surface restriction so coke -> steel can be made anywhere, including on space platforms.
- Advanced asteroid processing: swapped the agricultural tech card for a metallurgic one, in both the research cost and the prerequisites (so the tech-tree graph draws from metallurgic science too).
- Removed the vestigial kr-basic-tech-card slot from the burner lab (K2 Spaced Out banishes that card from the tech tree; the lab input was left over). Only removed after confirming no technology still uses it.
- Removed AAI Industry's duplicate wooden electronic circuit recipe (electronic-circuit-wood), keeping Krastorio 2's kr-electronic-circuit-wood. Its unlock effect is stripped from the electronics tech too, so the shared unlock stays valid.

- Initial mod structure. Bundles Krastorio 2: Spaced Out with the Definitive Edition mod set as dependencies.
