The Item Dropper Planner lets you quickly extract specific items from containers by dragging a selection over them. Matching items are instantly spilled onto the ground where they can be picked up manually or collected by logistics bots.
How to use:
Click the toolbar shortcut to open the filter GUI. Select which items to drop and optionally set a quality filter using the comparator dropdown (=, ≠, >, ≥, <, ≤, or Any). Click "Use" to get the selection tool, then drag over any containers in your factory.
Supported containers:
Chests, logistic containers, assembling machines, furnaces, rocket silos, roboports, labs, mining drills, beacons, turrets, cars, spidertrons, cargo wagons, agricultural towers, asteroid collectors, and more.
Why drop instead of using bots?
Bots target specific inventory slot positions. If inventory shifts while the bot is in transit, it may collect the wrong item. This mod drops items synchronously in a single tick — no race conditions, no mistakes.
