It's more like cut-and-paste.
If you have a chest that's full of something—e.g. iron ore—and you need to move the chest, you have to manually move all the ore into your inventory, then into a temporary chest, move the original chest, and then transfer it back via picking it up into your inventory and putting it in the new location. The caveat is, if your inventory can't contain all the ore, you have to do the process multiple times.
This mod ignores your local inventory and directly transfers from the source to the destination like a cut-and-paste. It's limited by reach & force (faction), so it only does something you can do yourself.
