With the Alien biomes mod, the surfaces do not generate with features. No trees, no cliffs, etc. At least I am assuming its the alien biomes mod that is causing the issue.

Since it seems only the other surfaces of Nauvis, are generated with issues. They are generated using the vanilla tiles. No decorations.
The resources do spawn though.
