Infused Science (Fixed)


Adds an infused version of every (even modded) science pack, which every infinite technology will require. Infused versions are made by combining the original with space science pack and some raw resources. This increases complexity and cost of endgame research. Inspired by More Science mod.

Hey! Glad to see this mod updated for 2.0!

In the case of space ages molded science packs from planet mods, would you be looking at some bug reports for those?

Onsensuchbas SLP Dyson as well as a few others, throw out an error about this mod removing the infused version of the packs and they no longer exist.

If this could some how work in the context of the planet packs it would be awesome.

Perhaps the Holmium solution and flouroketone could be used in the infusion mix, aybe in an "advanced infusion solution" using base game planets.

I will absolutely consider adding space age ingredients to the infusion recipe, perhaps as an optional setting, in short order. Todays update was mainly to just get it updated for 2.0 as a base line. I'm curious about why that mod is saying this one removed infused sciences, it does no such thing as far I'm aware. While I only adopted it and fixed it, I obviously had to go very deep into the mod code for the 2.0 update, and as far as I can tell the only thing this does is create infused science packs and adds them as ingredients to infinite techs. A picture of the error and/or a copy of the factorio-current.log when it occurs would be very helpful.

About modded science packs, I am very happy to add support for those, and if there is mod that adds science packs that this one does not correctly detect, it might just be that I need to add it as an optional dependency or update my prefix/suffix checks to include it, and Im happy to do that at any time.
