g One issue when used with spiderlings.

I have been trying out this with Spiderlings from Spidertron patrols, and they do what they are supposed to as far as I can tell. The issue is that every time my spiderlings go to attack most nests, no matter how many there are, they end up getting destroyed. I might have 1 survivor with barely any health left if I am really lucky. The reason why they get destroyed comes down to 2 things mostly. First of is they all stack on top of each other after forming a group, which becomes more noticeable at larger groups. and the second reason is they stop when they reach their target while attacking. The thing that kills them is that all my spiderlings end up staying in a big puddle acid after every spitter and worm have attacked the spiderlings as they enter go-home state. They should at least keep moving as long as they are in range of ranged enemies. Just in general, staying still while fighting inside the range of any spitter or worm is a terrible idea no matter what.

After thinking about it, it might be an issue with acid in general. I used to play around a lot with AAI, and I noticed there that the vehicles really struggled following orders while in acid puddles. I had to move them manually at times out of acid puddles as they really slowed down for whatever reason due to them.

I just wish I could play around some more with this mod in combination with spiderlings, but as it currently stands, it is really not worth it. Funny how spiderlings are better at avoiding getting destroyed by worms and spitters in the planning phase than they are in the middle of combat.

I can't replicate this behaviour on my map.

In general, acid slows down spidertrons and spiderlings. It's entirely possible that spiderlings are slowed down to a standstill and that their health is low enough for them to get killed in that period.

If you see a cyan path on the map (from the point of attack towards where they came from), but the spiderling does not move, it's most likely that. If not, please check the settings and revert the retreat distance and the assembling distance to the default value.

As a general strategy: Don't send spiderlings alone and don't equip them with explosive (red) rockets. Large and Behemoth biters are faster and the spiderling might get killed by it's own rockets.
