i autosave warning + button?

I have a pretty big base and while i value autosaves, they do tend to occur at times i'm doing something. I'd prefer to have a mod alert me that it's time for an autosave, which then allows me to stop what i'm doing, hit the button and have an autosave happen then.

Any chance of that being viable?

Sure, that's entirely doable. I might look into adding it some time in the next week or so.

I ended up implementing a PoC version that just launches the existing tagged-save GUI on the autosave interval, but that's quite obtrusive, does not make for a good UX. I'm looking into whether or not I can hook into the vanilla 'alert' functionality (used for the 'objects were destroyed', 'train out of fuel', etc. notifications). Not sure when I'll get this done, as I'm likely to be pretty busy this month though given Christmas-adjacent family stuff, but feel free to poke me on here if you haven't heard back by like mid-January.

...well, I got it done before a January :V. New release includes the prompt-only mode; I still find it kinda more intrusive than I'd like, but it's not really possible to hook into the vanilla alert functionality in the way I'd need. I might work on a different GUI approach for this at some point.
