your joke mod isn't real a joke ;-)
The german translation for inserters is "Greifarm", which is a concat of "greifen" (to grab) and "Arm" (arm). In my opinion the german translation is much more accurate, because the inserts are an arm which grabs things and to something which the grabbed item. And this somesthing is not always an insert.
But hey... if it's funny in english ;-)
