Yep, unfortunately I'm aware. Its even worse on multiplayer. The modding API doesn't provide the native ghost reverse-lookup (the green square that appears on the bot when hovering over the ghost), so we have to scan the work order queue of every single active construction bot on the surface, which means O(n bots) and loops in Lua.
If you haven't tried it yet, I released 0.4.0 around a day ago which adds some dynamic rate limiting (only search x bots per tick), trading response time for reasonable UPS. But more performance improvements/tuning and bug fixes (ghost miniloaders lag) are priorities right now
