Hey, this is a neat little mod. I thought I'd try it out, and I didn't realise how much nicer it feels to have smooth scrolling for zoom. You might want to test how latency affects this mod in multiplayer, since you're blocking the native zoom controls. (I also found an existing Smooth Zoom mod if you want to compare notes.)

But I wanted to ask about the shortcut button / keybind that this mod adds. It seems like it tries to mimic what the native "Toggle map" control does? It seems unnecessary, as well as this line in your mod description:

Map view only opens when you want it: M as usual, or Alt + M / the shortcut bar button

"Toggle map" is bound to Tab or M by default (since Factorio 2.0), and the user can always change these binds if they want.

I know it's a small thing and I can hide it if it's unwanted, but the Shortcut bar can quickly fill up with a lot of shortcuts competing for your attention. It seems like it doesn't add anything; is there some special purpose that I'm unaware of?
