You'll get that error if the actual modpack isn't getting loaded, which provides the fix. This usually happens when one of the dependencies isn't satisfied.

Your best bet would be to disable all mods, then load back in the game and apply any updates and re-enable just the modpack. This should enable all the dependencies as well.

If you still get the error after reloading the game, a sure way to fix it would be to delete all mods and re-download the modpack.
